Reforest Frankfort is a family friendly event held annually in Frankfort. This year the event will take place at KSU’s research farm at 1525 Mills Lane. The event is free and open to the public. Volunteers will help plant natives tree saplings on a portion of the farm. There will be a complimentary lunch, live music and free tree saplings for participants.
Reforest Frankfort will be bigger and better than ever this year! This earth friendly educational event is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023. The City of Frankfort – Parks Department and Kentucky State University are partnering to bring tree planting to the Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm, 1525 Mills Lane, Frankfort, Ky 40601.The day begins at 9:00 am and will be filled with tree planting, exhibitors teaching better environmental choices, music, food, art and so much more. This is a free, family event.
