Family Workshop: Historians investigate the past, so put your skills to work and decide who shot William Goebel, a candidate for Kentucky governor, in 1900. You will visit the crime scene outside the Old State Capitol, examine the coat Goebel wore (now in our museum) and learn about the suspects in the case. Who shot Goebel…? You decide!
Cost: $15 per family, (includes an adult and two children). $5 for each additional participant. Members will receive $5 off the total registration cost. Includes museum admission.
Activities are best for ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome.
Registration is required no later than three days before the class and space is limited. Call 502-782-8118 or email [email protected]. Payment can be taken over the phone at time of registration.
Workshops begin at the front desk of the Kentucky History Center.
