Hosted by Paul Sawyier Public Library in collaboration with the Kentucky Historical Society and moderated by Stuart Sanders, Director of Research and Collections. A virtual discussion by Frankfort authors who have captured our area’s rich history in the written word. Participating authors include: Douglas Boyd (Crawfish Bottom: Recovering a Lost Kentucky Community, 2013), Nicky Hughes (multiple titles) of Frankfort Heritage Press, Sheila Mason (Community Memories: A Glimpse of African American Life in Frankfort, Kentucky, 2003), Richard Taylor (Elkhorn: Evolution of a Kentucky Landscape, 2018), and Nash Cox and Sallie Clay Lanham (Portrait of Early Families: Frankfort Area Before 1860, 2009).
