Learn how you can support pollinators and other wildlife by incorporating native plants into your landscape. Join us for a short presentation by Beate Popkin in the Orlando Brown House, followed by a tour of the gardens with our Garden Curator, Isabel Cochran.
Beate Popkin is a native plant expert, longtime garden designer, and member of the Lexington Wild Ones Chapter. Last year, we received a grant from the Kentucky Native Plant Society to add more plants for pollinators to Euphemia’s butterfly garden. We used the funds to purchase several native shrubs that were planted throughout the property. We will be checking in on these shrubs and the many other native plants on site!
