Guided Art Tours Begin in Downtown Frankfort!

Frankfort, KY – The Frankfort / Franklin County Tourist and Convention Commission will begin offering guided walking tours showcasing the public art in historic downtown Frankfort beginning May 5, 2023. Tours will be offered on Friday’s at 2pm in May, June, September and October and at 10am on Fridays in July and August.

Tours are 60 minutes long and about one mile in length. Join us and learn about the artists, sculptures and murals located in the downtown area. Come see, touch and learn about the art, the artists and the stories.

The tours are curated in collaboration with Josephine Sculpture Park and FrankArts and are being offered as part of the Frankfort Public Art Tour. Frankfort is the state capital of Kentucky and the Public Art Capital of Kentucky. It is a community with a rich artistic history and diverse cultural heritage.
