The African American Civil War Memorial offers a significantly historic stone monument with the names of 142 African-American soldiers from Franklin and the surrounding counties. It is located in Green Hill Cemetery. Established in 1865, the cemetery honors Frankfort’s African American Civil War heritage. Hours are dawn to dusk.
