Josephine Sculpture Park (JSP) will celebrate their dedicated members with special guest and Emmy-winning artist Ben Sollee on April 7, 2024 from 2 to 6pm at the event barn. Over the past two
decades of creating and performing, Kentucky native Ben Sollee has delighted audiences with his genre-defying mix of folk, bluegrass, jazz and R&B. Sollee has also demonstrated deep commitment to
social and environmental justice.
In addition to an intimate concert, the party will also offer opportunities to connect with other members through art activities, park exploration, delicious Community Que food truck (for purchase), and guided
tours by Melanie VanHouten, JSP Founding Director, and Lucy Azubuike, JSP Artist in Residence and Frankfort artist. All members are invited to attend this free event, but space is limited, so please register
soon.
Any new or renewing park membership by April 7 will ensure access to the Member Party with Ben Sollee, plus access to 3 additional member events throughout the year, a JSP sticker and hand-printed
bookmark by Joanne Price of Starpointe Studio. This year, JSP encourages members to join or renew their membership at a level that feels comfortable for them, with suggested levels ranging from $25 to

Memberships help keep the park free and open every day of the year from dawn to dusk for the entire community. Memberships directly support park operations and programming, such as installing new
sculptures, maintaining trails and picnic areas, enhancing native plant and wildlife habitat diversity, and partnering with visual and performing artists to grow our creative connections.
