This comfortable, quiet corner unit directly across from the back end of the Governor’s Mansion, is tucked away for a cozy stay in our quaint little downtown Frankfort. This tiny unit is perfect for a single person stay or a couple. It has one bedroom, a cozy living room, bathroom and full kitchen, that can all be seen at the same time from standing in the middle of the room. There is enough room in the living room area for a travel/pop up crib, but not enough space for a blow up mattress. It is located in a perfect area for a quiet, comfortable stay. Also, it is the perfect location because it is close enough to the capital, downtown restaurants and bars , or to the main highways that will get you to the major metropolitan areas quickly. This airbnb is truly in the best spot, being right in the middle of sweet South Frankfort. There is free parking along the street in front of the house so you do not have to worry about parking lots, fees or towing. The neighborhood is a beautiful, scenic place to take evening strolls or jogs around the capital. Downtown is close by, and although most people would drive the distance, it can be an easy 10-15 walk by just going straight up Capital Ave. (2 blocks over from the unit). We live nearby and walk to events and festivals downtown in nice weather all the time! Buffalo Trace Distillery is only a 7 minute drive! Other things to note This unit is a duplex that has a longterm renter next door who is an excellent, respectful, tenant. FYI, no living quarter walls are shared. The next door closet and shower are the shared walls to the basement entrance (access closed) and bathroom of the airbnb. Therefore, noise from the neighbor’s unit should not be an issue.
