Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Frankfort Cemetery is Kentucky’s first rural garden style cemetery. Here rest Daniel and Rebecca Boone, their grave site overlooking the City of Frankfort. Buses must drop off at the front office as they are not allowed on the grounds. Large tour groups are asked to schedule their visits in advance. Please, no rubbings or tracings. Visiting hours end at 5:30 during Daylight Savings Time.
