2023 Capital Pride Festival

Old Capitol Lawn 300 W Broadway St, Frankfort, Kentucky

Join us in downtown Frankfort and on the Old Capitol Lawn to help celebrate Pride! There will be drag shows, music, food trucks and beer, vendors, and kid’s activities! Happening October 14th from 11am-5pm. We hope to see you there!

Capital Pride is a family-friendly LGBT Pride Festival that will feature drag shows and other entertainment. There will also be children’s entertainment, Pride merchandise, a vendor fair and food trucks.

The Creek

The Rocky Horror Show

This show is RATED R for mature themes, and contains adult language, partial nudity, sexual content, and simulated violence. “The Rocky Horror Show” may not be suitable for patrons under the age of 18. Parental discretion is advised.

2023 Black Cat Chase

The Black Cat Chase 5K, sponsored by Commonwealth Credit Union, will be held on Friday, October 27 at 7pm, and is one of the region's most popular and entertaining races. This traditional race is filled with fun and excitement, from both the race participants and spectators! With the Halloween themed festivities, such as costumes, Halloween music and more; this is a great event for the entire family. Whether you choose to participate by yourself, with a friend or spouse, school or work group, or with the whole family, the Black Cat Chase 5K will be sure to deliver high quality entertainment for everyone involved. Also, the start/finish of the race will once again be held in Downtown Frankfort in front of the Old Capitol lawn!
