- Kentucky Arbor Day is open to the public, so feel free to bring a colleague, friend, community member or your family.
- The event will take place just outside the Governor’s Mansion near State Street.
- The ceremony will occur rain or shine and will take place under a large tent. If it’s rainy, we still want to see you there!
- Governor Andy Beshear will give remarks and will be signing and reading the official Kentucky Arbor Day proclamation.
- If you want to take part in the ceremonial tree planting, we’ll have shovels and gloves.
- After the ceremony and tree planting, we’ll have light refreshments and a free tree seedling distribution.
