Ancient buffalo carved paths through the wilderness that led American pioneers and explorers to new frontiers. One such trail led to the banks of the Kentucky River where Buffalo Trace Distillery has been making bourbon whiskey the same way for more than 200 years.  The distillery is a designated National Historic Landmark. Visit Buffalo Trace Distillery for a variety of tours, interesting history, beautiful architecture and grounds, and tastings- all at no charge.

The gift shop is open daily to the public; however, tours and tastings require reservations; there may be some availability for walk-in experiences if there are no-shows or cancellations.
