The Kentucky Governor’s Mansion has been home to twenty-five Kentucky Governors and has served as an impressive setting for welcoming dignitaries from across the globe as well as the citizens of the Commonwealth. This Beaux Arts mansion was modeled after Marie Antoinette’s summer home, Petit Trianon and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Regularly scheduled public tours of The Governor’s Mansion are available every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (excluding some federal and all state holidays). Reservations are needed for groups and school tours. Rotating art exhibitions from public and private collections on display.
