Taylor Jr. (1830 – 1923) is considered the Father of the Modern Bourbon Industry and he lived and worked in Frankfort, Kentucky. This is where he made and lost and made several fortunes and created revolutionary changes in the distilling business. His life’s work in distilling, agriculture and politics improved the lives of all Americans and his name is known around the world.
